How to Calculate Your Bill

Detailed information has been added to the left side of the monthly natural gas bill to better enable customers to see and analyze the individual components. This information includes the amounts of the Monthly Customer Charge and Infrastructure System Replacement Surcharge (ISRS), together with the two-tier, per-therm charge for natural gas used to calculate the "Gas Svc" portion of a bill based on usage.

For example, if the “Total Charge for Gas Svc” is $140.18, based on winter rates (effective 11/17/09) and 150 therms of use, the breakdown would be:
