Budget Billing

Budget Billing gives you the peace of mind to know your gas bill won't fluctuate dramatically during the cold winter months (typically December through March). With Budget Billing, Laclede estimates your total annual gas usage and divides that into 12 monthly payments. We still read your meter every month and check your account; so if your actual bills run higher or lower than expected over time, your budget payments can be adjusted accordingly.

You can determine your Budget Billing amount and enroll in the service through Customer Connection (our online account management tool). This is a free service that gives you the ability to track usage and compare monthly statements going back 13 months.
