Budget Billing

Budget Billing can be used along with the various payment options above to help level your monthly bills. From December through March – the four months that are normally the coldest – you usually spend more for gas than you do for the other eight months combined. And this makes it hard to plan your budget. With Budget Billing, Laclede estimates your total annual gas usage and divides that into 12 monthly payments. We still read your meter every month and check your account, so if your actual bills run higher or lower than expected over time, your budget payments can be adjusted accordingly.
